The purpose of the workshop is to provide stakeholders with information relating to the planning, implementation and monitoring of the Industry-Funded programmes.

STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATIONS | 2025/26 DG Window | NATIONAL DISCRETIONARY GRANT (DG) STAKEHOLDER WORKSHOP

Dear Valued Stakeholders (Dear team, kindly find edited Comms)

The Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) hereby invites applications from stakeholders and legal entities who fall within its scope to apply for the 2025/26 CATHSSETA Discretionary Grant Applications.

Please find the following important documents attached: DG Advert, DG Application Guidelines, DG Policy, Acknowledgment of DG SP Policy, Strategic Project Sponsorship and Partnership Policy, Application Form (Non-Pivotal), Acknowledgement of DG & SP Policy, Acknowledgement of DG Policy, Declaration of Interest, Declaration of Authorised Person and FAQs.

Applications can only be submitted online via the CATHSSETA Information Management System (CIMS) on https://cims.cathsseta.org.za. Please note that only applications with a submitted status will be evaluated. The closing date for submission of applications is Friday, 31 January 2025 before 16h00.  No applications will be accepted after this deadline.

CATHSSETA further extends an invitation to you and your organisation to attend the National Discretionary Grant Stakeholder Workshop. Please click here for more details and to find a workshop location near you. The workshops will cover the following topics: 

• CATHSSETA organisation update
• Discretionary Grant application process and guidelines
• The supporting documents related to the funding
•  Administration and Management process on what transpires once an applicant is awarded funding
•  ETQA update pertaining to training provider registration, and occupational qualifications.
