1. CATHSSETA is responsible for developing External Integrated Summative Assessments (EISAs).
2. QCTO approves EISA after ensuring that it is developed according to QCTO standards.
3. CATHSSETA facilitates and coordinates the assessments
4. QCTO monitors assessments to ensure their credibility
5. CATHSSETA facilitates the marking and moderation of the scripts and submit a report to QCTO.
6. QCTO verifies and approves the learner results for EISA
