The Supply Chain Management (SCM) unit is committed to transparent, fair, and effective procurement practices in compliance with the Preferential Procurement Regulations, 2022. These regulations guide the implementation of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act (PPPFA), 2000, ensuring that procurement processes contribute to economic transformation and empowerment.
To participate in procurement opportunities, suppliers must:
- Be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
- Comply with tax clearance requirements and B-BBEE regulations.
- Meet the specific tender requirements, including local content where applicable.
A service provider may commence work only after the SCM department has issued an official Purchase Order (PO) and, where applicable, a Service Level Agreement (SLA) contract. CATHSSETA SCM Unit ensures all invoices are processed and paid within 30 days, subject to the receipt of complete supporting documentation and end-user approval.
