2026/2027 Mandatory Grant Window Now Open

CATHSSETA is pleased to announce that the CATHSSETA Integrated Management System (CIMS) is now officially open for submissions for the 2026/2027 financial year.

Stakeholders are invited to submit the following:

• Workplace Skills Plans (WSP)
• Annual Training Reports (ATR)

All stakeholders are encouraged to begin their submissions promptly to meet the deadline.

Important Notices

• Requests for extensions, if any, must be submitted by 15 April 2026, accompanied by a motivation letter and supporting documentation.
• No extensions will be granted for late submissions, including incomplete or inaccurate data.

Mandatory Grant Information

The Mandatory Grant provides levy-paying employers with an opportunity to claim a 20% reimbursement for approved training conducted during the financial year.

For full details on the qualifying criteria, please refer to the Mandatory Grant (MG) Policy.

Stakeholder Support and Training

To ensure accurate and timely submissions, CATHSSETA will host:

• National virtual stakeholder engagement sessions from 24 February – 02 March 2026.
• A dedicated Helpdesk (virtual capacitation sessions) available Monday to Friday, from 10h00 to 12h00, to assist with queries and provide support throughout the submission period.
