EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT FOR TVET & CET COLLEGES

CATHSSETA invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Principals to indicate their interest in infrastructure support and development for their Institutions. The Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) is a statutory body established in terms of the Skills Development Act, No. 97 of 1998, to promote and facilitate the delivery of education, training and development initiatives in order to enhance the skills profile of its sectorial stakeholders.

In an effort to improve the infrastructure for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Community Education and Training (CET) Colleges offering CATHSSETA qualifications in line with the NSDP 2030 mandate, CATHSSETA hereby invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Principals to indicate their interest in infrastructure support and development for their Institution.

NSDP Sub-outcome Outcome Indicator
Support the TVET Colleges TVET colleges infrastructure development/support: e.g. short term: Procurement or replacement of equipment / Improving sports fields. e.g. long term: Building infrastructure; Refurbishing the existing structures; Training learners on Galilio and Amadea programmes and; Qualification development
Support the CET Colleges CET colleges infrastructure development/support e.g. short term: Procurement or replacement of equipment / Improving sports fields. e.g. long term: Building infrastructure; Refurbishing the existing structures; and Lecturer Support

Implementation is scheduled for March 2024.

FOR YOUR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO BE CONSIDERED

  • Eligible applicants are TVET & CET Colleges
  • Please complete the expression of interest form attached;
  • Provide a detailed project proposal and implementation plan to demonstrate a need for infrastructure/equipment support; and
  • Submit a detailed budget for the infrastructure/equipment support required
  • Declaration of authorised person is completed
