CATHSSETA hereby invites applications for discretionary grant funding from stakeholders and entities who fall within the CATHSSETA scope.

CATHSSETA DISCRETIONARY GRANTS 2017/18 WINDOW APPLICATIONS

The Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) is a statutory body established in terms of the skills development Act (1998), as amended, to advance skills levels in accordance with the National Skills Development Strategy III.

CATHSSETA hereby invites applications from stakeholders and entities who fall within the CATHSSETA scope for discretionary grant funding for the following PIVOTAL Programmes:

APPLICATION GUIDELINES

  • The submission of applications will be done via the CATHSSETA online portal.
  • Applications should reach CATHSSETA no later than 30 November 2016, at 23h59. No applications will be accepted after the deadline.
  • Only applications that comply with and support the CATHSSETA Sector Scarce and Critical Skills reflected above and are compliant with the CATHSSETA Discretionary Grants Policy will be considered.
  • Online applications should be properly completed and ALL required supporting documents must be uploaded.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered. Bursary applications are only available for undergraduate qualifications.
  • Employers applying for Work Integrated Learning NCV Level 4 & Nated 6 should recruit learners from TVET Colleges.
  • Employers applying for Internships should recruit learners from public education & training institutions (universities & universities of technology).
  • It is the responsibility of applicants to familiarise themselves with the CATHSSETA Discretionary Grants Policy.
  • Please ensure that you submit the declaration of authorised persons, which needs to be uploaded during the registration phase
  • Upon submitting your application form, you will receive an automated response containing a DG reference number.

Discretionary Grants are allocated at the sole discretion of CATHSSETA depending on the availability of funds, adherence to specific criteria as per the CATHSSETA Discretionary Grants Policy and Guidelines, as well as approval from the CATHSSETA Accounting Authority.
